Pattusaree told the story of two bold women Kanchi Amma, who own a famous silk saree shop and a poor girl named Tamara who is the adopted daughter of a saree seller.
The show went off air on 7 July 2014, completing its 443th episode and was one of the highest TRP rated serial. Surya Mohan played as the main female protagonist of the show.
